As I mentioned in my second takeaway from #Agen2019, Story Listening is the CORE of all my lessons.

WHY?

Because my IB Spanish students have achieved tremendous results in the past two years I have been teaching at Thuringia International School.

Fun and simple idea to practice “gustar”

The verb “gustar” is not an easy verb to use as it is so different from “normal”verbs. The majority of students know how to use it in the first person singular “me gusta” but they rarely know how to use it when they want to refer to someone else.

2014 Goals

I usually set myself a few goals at the start of a new year but this time I have decided to restrain myself!

My main goal is really to keep updating this blog on a regular basis. I would like to post something that went well during a lesson (or something that went wrong) once a week.

The very kind librarian at my school sent me an email about whether I could send her a list with titles of Spanish books for the library as there is some money to be spent. However, I am not sure what would be the best/most useful for the students to order.
