Coucou les membres de la communauté,
Nadya’s Teen Stage Triumph 🎓
This week, I want to shine a spotlight on one of our dear members, Nadya, who has just completed the Teen Stage, our special French course for intermediate learners.
Nadya shared in the Community Chat:
“Je suis heureuse parce que j’ai terminé le ‘Teen Stage’ : j’ai répondu aux 31 questions. Mes questions préférées sont : « Si j’étais un super-héros, quels pouvoirs j’aimerais avoir ? », « Qu’est-ce que je voudrais apprendre ? » et « Si je pouvais retourner dans le passé, dans quelle période historique aimerais-je vivre, et pourquoi ? » @Alice, Merci de m’avoir guidée dans cette aventure!”

Bravo, Nadya! Your progress and enthusiasm are inspiring to all of us.
How to Get the Most Out of the Teen Stage ✍️
If you’re ready to follow in Nadya’s footsteps, here’s how the Teen Stage sessions work.
In each session, I answer a question about myself, maybe where I live, things I love, or things I hate. I type my answer on a document and comment on it as I go, explaining my thoughts and choices.
As I type each sentence, you can copy them in your most beautiful handwriting. This isn’t just about neatness! Your hand is the extension of your brain, and handwriting helps you develop fluency and automaticity with French prosody.
You can repeat out loud as you write. This is optional, but saying the sentences aloud while writing gives your brain and tongue a double workout, boosting your French fluency and confidence! 🗣️✍️
When the session is over, take a moment to write your own answer to the question, reflecting on your own life and experiences.
Don’t worry about spelling or grammar! Just let your ideas flow.

You’ll be surprised at how much you can already express in French, and each session will help you grow even more.
Why This Method Works for Real Conversations 💬
By copying my sentences, repeating them aloud, and then writing your own personal answers, you’re training your brain to think in French.
You internalize sentence structures, vocabulary, and natural phrasing, so you’ll be ready when it’s time for a real conversation.
The more you train yourself, the more automatic your responses become, and the easier it is to maintain a conversation in French without overthinking.
It’s a gentle, effective way to build both confidence and competence!
