Coucou les French learners,
You know when this happens? When you feel high because you understood a whole story in French?! That is exactly what happens to me after I watch a Chinese video and I understand it! I feel high.
I don’t understand every Chinese word in the story but I understand the gist. I understand the message and I feel high! I feel like I want to know more and explore Chinese further.

I am sure it does happen to you too! When you understand something new, your brain releases neurotransmitters like dopamine and endorphins. These neurostranmitters are associated with pleasure and reward. These chemicals make you feel good and motivated to continue on your journey.
That sense of accomplishment and satisfaction you experience after grasping a new concept is the result of these neurotransmitters flooding your brain.
It’s like a natural high!

I really enjoy French with Alice and the resources which she prepared. I didn’t expect this to be a funny activity as I had some prejudice from studying English. What I like about Alice is that she encourages interactions with the resources – to draw, to take notes, to be part of the community, to invent our own stories, to crochet the characters of the stories (in my case ). It may be stupid, but when I see my multicolored Aspirin (the cat from the Baby Stage) on my shelf, it reminds/inspires me about taking some time with the French every day.
