Love learning thru stories. I find it seems to work well and makes sense as a learning method.

I studied french in school for 10 years in Canada, and also did a summer language exchange at Universite Laval but was never able to get the language to click. Working through these videos (I started right at the beginning) has been so helpful to consolidate the grammar and vocabulary that I learned academically but couldn’t put together.

So pleased to have found the Alice Ayel site on LingQ. I have been struggling to learn french for years but can’t seem to get beyond A2/B1 with traditional methods. It makes so much sense to learn a new language in the same way that we learn our first.

Very reasonably priced French learning programme compared to the well-known multi-language apps. Small business with a very personal touch, a real human presenting with full eye-contact and warm expressivity that makes it engaging and memorable. Learning through stories – which I find much more enjoyable than going over and over how to order refreshments in Paris cafes like most courses.
